Continuing our Mission of Empowerment
Teaching Life Skills to Increase Resilience
A meaningful way to improve a student's performance while providing her with educational opportunities is to help build her psychological and emotional life skills. As clinical psychologists and professors of psychology and medicine, our co-founders are passionately dedicated to a model of resilience. For this reason, we are focused this year on developing user-friendly, practically applied, culturally appropriate training materials for our scholarship recipients that can be taught by laypeople and peers.
Our future scholarship students must have water to be able to study. A severe drought has threatened this community's survival!
Thank you to all generous donors and the LBI Girlfriends for helping us to achieve our first Full of Possibilities Scholarship. Your support and contributions are changing lives, one at a time.
